More about ab workout machines
The market is simply flooded with ab workout machines, but which is the best?
You see many of them advertised on TV where some ripped models who have probably spent their entire lives in a gym tries to make you believe that the abdominal exercise equipment in question is responsible for their physique.
Now, in truth, you don't need to spend a lot of money on these things. I'm not sure why people have this pressing need to use them. You actually see this trend all over the place with fitness gadgets. For some reason or another people want something they can get on or get into or hold in their hands.
What is the problem with ab workout machines?
Let it be known that I am very partial to ab exercises that you can do without any machines. I've seen enough of these beasts gathering dust in people's homes to know that the novelty wears off pretty quickly.
And that's where the problem lies. Exercising takes discipline. I guess on TV you have all these wonderfully fit people strutting their stuff with some ab fitness machine or another, looking fantastic, wearing permanent smiles, doing their best to convince you that they're having a fabulous time with this equipment and "yes, you will too!"
Unfortunately reality hits at about the same time the equipment hits your living room.
You do the free exercise guide on the little pamphlet included with the product, and yes, you're actually wearing a hint of a smile.
A week later...and the novelty has really worn off. You're bored, your gut isn't any smaller (nothing like those studs and babes on the TV ad), this thing isn't giving you a six pack abs workout and you're about ready to add yet another piece to your personal junk collection.
So what is the best ab machine?
Apart from your own body? Ok, ok.
You'll see me talk about this thing elsewhere on this site, but it really is a gem. It's not too expensive, and apart from giving you a great ab workout it will also help you build a really powerful body. Once you try it you'll see why.
I am, of course, talking about the Power Wheel from Lifeline USA. Look, give this thing a try, combined with a good aerobic workout program. It produces results, although it may not be suitable for beginners as it is quite demanding. If you can't stick to it, chances are you won't stick to any other ab workout machines.
So, that's the abdominal exercise equipment that gets my vote. Best of all, you won't feel like you've been tricked (again) by some ripped model with a fake smile selling you this thing on the telly. Stop buying empty promises and get yourself a real ab machine. The Power Wheel is it.
